Our partner is global company that manages the supply chain for farm products and supplies with operation in 15 countries, offering a wide variety of agricultural goods.

Summary

Our partner is seeking a Quality Control to verify that packed cashew products meet customer specifications, internal quality requirements, and applicable food safety standards. The QC Packing Section will follow up on packing activities, examine completed products, detect quality deviations, and confirm that only qualified products are approved for export release.

Job Responsibilities

Product Quality Inspection:

• Inspect finished cashew kernels before, during, and after packing activities.
• Check product quality based on kernel grade, color, size, moisture content, defects, and foreign matter.
• Ensure packed products meet customer requirements and company quality standards.
• Identify non-conforming products and separate them for corrective action.

Packing Process Monitoring:

• Monitor packing activities to ensure products are packed according to approved specifications.
• Verify packing weight, labeling, sealing, coding, and packaging materials.
• Ensure packaging is clean, undamaged, and suitable for export requirements.
• Conduct random sampling during production to confirm product consistency.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Record inspection results accurately in quality control forms and production records.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and immediately report any quality deviations.
• Maintain traceability records for packed products.

Food Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRC, HALAL, and company food safety procedures.
• Monitor hygiene practices in the packing area.
• Support internal and external quality audits when required.
• Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.

Coordination:

• Coordinate with Production, QA, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Communicate inspection findings promptly to supervisors and relevant departments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and packing efficiency.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties assigned by the QA/QC Supervisor or Quality Manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Management, Biology, or related disciplines.
• Experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing factory.
• Experience in the cashew processing industry is an advantage.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, BRC, HALAL, quality inspection procedures, and packing control processes.
• Knowledge of export packing requirements is preferred.
• Good observation skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Honest, responsible, careful, and willing to work under pressure.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to quality and food safety.
• English is not required for this position.
