Chief Executive Officer

Our strategic partner specializes in manufacturing and processing fruit and vegetable-based food products for both export and domestic markets. The business is currently expanding its operations in Vietnam and is seeking senior management positions to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and execute strategic development initiatives in the next phase of expansion.

Summary

Our Partner is seeking a Chief Executive Officer responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the business. This position will oversee overall business operations, factory performance, P&L management, and supply chain optimization within the food processing industry, while driving business expansion across both export and domestic markets.

Job Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth: 

  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term business strategies to enhance profitability, expand market presence, and strengthen overall enterprise value.
  • Take full ownership of financial performance, budgeting activities, resource planning, and overall profit and loss management.
  • Lead market expansion initiatives across international export channels and premium domestic business segments.

Manufacturing Operations & Technical Excellence: 

  • Manage the overall manufacturing environment to ensure factory operations achieve international standards for food safety, quality assurance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation enhancement, and technological advancement across manufacturing processes.
  • Optimize production planning and manufacturing capacity in line with market demand and sales projections.
  • Design and improve end-to-end production workflows from raw materials to finished products.
  • Perform production line balancing and operational flow optimization to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Assess and select suitable manufacturing technologies and food processing equipment.
  • Enhance production yield, reduce waste, control operational costs, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to conduct production trials, pilot runs, and scale-up activities.

Supply Chain, Processing & Warehousing Management: 

  • Ensure effective food and fruit processing methodologies with strict quality management practices.
  • Lead warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and cold chain management to maintain raw material and finished product quality.
  • Manage sourcing activities and supplier relationships with agricultural partners to secure stable, traceable, and high-quality raw material supply.

Organization Leadership & Corporate Governance: 

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team across operations, product development, finance, sales, and supply chain functions.
  • Promote a collaborative, performance-driven, and safety-oriented working culture aligned with corporate values.
  • Represent the organization in strategic negotiations and engagements with key customers, authorities, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by senior leadership when required.

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.
  • Strong preference for candidates with an engineering background or strong technical expertise in manufacturing operations.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience within food manufacturing, beverage production, or fruit and vegetable processing industries.
  • Strong experience in processed fruit manufacturing with full business and financial management responsibility is highly preferred.
  • Candidates with solid experience in vegetable processing operations and full operational ownership are also considered suitable.
  • Proven expertise in food manufacturing technologies, warehousing operations, and logistics management.
  • Experience or understanding of agricultural sourcing, farming operations, or agronomy is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capability.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting management and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
