Technical Sales Manager (Aquaculture)

Our strategic partner is a leading importer and distributor of specialty chemical raw materials in Vietnam. As part of its business expansion into aquaculture solutions, the company is seeking a key commercial professional to develop the market across the Mekong Delta and Southern Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the sales performance of the aquaculture chemicals business in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Independently drive sales revenue and volume to achieve assigned business targets.
  • Develop, maintain, and maximize relationships with distributors, dealers, and aquaculture trading partners within the assigned territory.
  • Proactively expand the distribution network for the company’s strategic product portfolio.
  • Provide technical consultation and guidance on the application of pond water treatment products to customers.
  • Support customers in resolving technical issues related to pond water quality and aquaculture environmental conditions during daily operations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to recommend appropriate sales strategies and commercial initiatives.
  • Travel regularly to major aquaculture farming regions to strengthen customer relationships and provide on-site technical support when required.
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in a similar role or in technical sales within the aquaculture industry, particularly involving water treatment chemicals and environmental products for shrimp or fish farming.
  • Strong and well-established network with Tier-1 distributors, master distributors, and key trading partners in the aquaculture sector, especially across the Mekong Delta.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and expand long-term customer relationships based on personal credibility and trust.
  • Solid technical knowledge of aquaculture water treatment, with hands-on experience in addressing issues related to algae management, dissolved oxygen, and shrimp pond water quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical technical solutions for urgent field situations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Aquaculture, Forestry & Fisheries, Environmental Science, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly responsive to market opportunities.
  • Strong ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform under ambitious sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned regions.
  • Basic English communication skills.
