Supply Chain Planning Manager

Our partner is a global company that manages the supply chain for farm products and supplies, with operations in 15 countries and offering a wide variety of agricultural goods.

Summary

Our strategic partner is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead and manage production and material planning functions for a cashew kernel processing operation. Reporting to the Profit Centre Head, this role ensures accurate and efficient execution of Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning, and Order Management processes to support business needs and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Master Production Scheduling:

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Procurement teams to align production schedules with business priorities.
  • Monitor and revise production schedules when needed to maintain supply continuity and optimize capacity utilization.

Material Requirements Planning:

  • Manage the material planning process to ensure raw materials and components are available on time.
  • Plan for both locally purchased materials and imported materials.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to execute purchasing plans and ensure timely delivery of required materials.
  • Reduce excess inventory while preventing material shortages.

Order & Fulfillment Management:

  • Manage the full order cycle from order receipt through production planning and delivery coordination.
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full through proactive planning and execution.
  • Resolve order-related issues and work with Customer Service and Logistics teams to meet customer expectations.

Inventory Control & Planning Accuracy:

  • Monitor inventory levels and drive initiatives to optimize working capital.
  • Improve planning accuracy by continuously refining planning parameters and systems.
  • Support inventory reconciliation and cycle count activities.

 Reporting & Process Improvement:

  • Prepare and analyze planning performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, on-time and in-full fulfillment, and inventory turnover.
  • Lead or support planning improvement projects, including system upgrades and SOP development.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity in ERP and planning tools.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five to eight years of relevant experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Proficient in Excel and planning or reporting tools.
  • Experience with Power BI is an advantage.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
