Our strategic partner is a leading multinational manufacturer of medicals devices, renowned for producing tight-tolerance, precision medical components through cutting-edge extrusion and molding processes. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.
Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement procurement strategies according to the company’s business strategy
- Establish and improve the procurement department’s systems, processes and other management systems that effectively enhance the development of the procurement department
- Cooperate with PMC department to formulate procurement plans to ensure that business needs are met and inventory costs are reduced
- Prepare annual procurement budget and supervise its implementation after approval
- Responsible for the development and negotiation of key categories, technical and procurement support for early development items
- Organize the tracking of domestic and foreign market trends of purchased items and predict price trends
- Find domestic and foreign material supply sources, investigate and master supply channels
- Responsible for the management of procurement logistics, capital flow and information flow
- Control procurement costs and expenses, and review quotations, purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Provide procurement reports to the company’s management
- Responsible for the personnel planning, division of labor, performance, training and other management of procurement personnel
- Responsible for the daily management of the department and coordination with other departments
- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements
- College degree or above, CET-4 or above, with US Supply Chain Management CPSM or PMP Project Management Certificate preferred
- 3 years or more of working experience in the medical industry, 3 years or more of purchasing management experience in foreign companies
- Familiar with all-category procurement (including domestic and foreign raw materials, equipment, molds, infrastructure projects, MRO, etc.) and supplier resources
- Familiar with procurement process, Kingdee/SAP and other systems; familiar with using OFFICE and other office software to create tables and data analysis
- Have good teamwork ability, strong stress resistance and negotiation ability, strong sense of responsibility, strong work principles and strong communication skills
- Proficient in Vietnamese, English and Chinese.
