Purchasing Specialist

Our strategic partner is a leading multinational manufacturer of medicals devices, renowned for producing tight-tolerance, precision medical components through cutting-edge extrusion and molding processes. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.

Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for new products and mass production raw materials: plastic rice, developer, masterbatch, modified material, ETC cleaning material, etc.; packaging materials; cartons, PET bags, paper tubes, PET blister, plastic bottles and boxes, label paper, paper-plastic bags, production consumables, public supplies, etc.; ensure that the quality, performance, delivery, price and service of the purchased products meet the company’s requirements;
• Follow the company’s “Purchase Control Procedure Document” to purchase materials, and effectively execute, follow up on delivery dates, and reconcile accounts according to the signed purchase orders or contracts. Payment application and quality abnormality handling
• Organize a weekly meeting of the purchasing department every Wednesday, and confirm and send out the application forms and purchase order material tracking sheets of each department before 17:30.
• On the last day of each month, send the MSDS, TDS and medical grade declaration and other information of the newly customized incoming materials of the month to the raw material supplier and archive them, and provide the modified Raw material information for sales, quality and technology
• Supplier management development and optimization of supplier resource base
• Newly responsible for the import of qualified suppliers of new categories, the organization of documents and the docking of internal system colleagues, as well as the management of all supplier qualifications and regular reminders Purchasing updates and supplier performance delivery achievement rates are collated monthly
• Organize internal and external audit supplier information
• Organize and provide imported raw material documents to customs clearance colleagues
• Cooperate with PMC to do a good job in inventory management to avoid inventory backlog and shortage
• Ensure that procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations and company policies
• Other matters assigned by superior

Job Requirements

• Age: 20-45 years old
• College degree or above
• Familiar with the procurement and supplier management process of raw materials, plastic rice, packaging products, etc. Responsible for ISO quality system corresponding procurement control and supply Supplier management program documents. Experience in material integration, cost control, and effective material procurement. Experience in finding the most effective procurement channels and experience in supply source. More than 2 years of purchasing experience is preferred.
• Proficient in operating ERP or Kingdee system, office software EXCEl&Word
• Calm and steady, work carefully, have a strong sense of responsibility, strong work principles, strong communication skills, and good negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Vietnamese, English and Chinese.
