Summary
Our strategic partner is seeking an Organization Development Lead to architect and strengthen core organization governance systems, including organization design, job architecture and grading, competency frameworks, document and records governance, and change management. The role also supports organization transformation and develops OD capability across the People & Organization function.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and maintain organization models across corporate functions and manufacturing sites, including department structures, span-of-control reviews, reporting-line governance, and structural changes arising from expansion, restructuring, M&A, or new entities.
- Govern the company-wide Job Description Master List, develop functional and leadership competency frameworks, apply Hay/Mercer job architecture and grading methodology, and coach functional leaders on standardized job-description design.
- Operate document governance through the Master Document Register, document-control procedures, standardized templates, coding conventions, version management, approval workflows, and controlled archiving.
- Design and implement a company-wide records management framework, establish standardized registers and forms, train business functions on application, and coordinate with Legal to support compliant record retention.
- Support organization-transformation initiatives by designing target structures, developing change and communication plans, and measuring post-implementation acceptance and stabilization.
- Continuously strengthen OD methodology through professional learning and knowledge sharing, while coaching junior P&O colleagues and building practical OD capability across related HR functions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Law, Industrial Management, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree in MBA, Human Resources Management, or Organizational Psychology is preferred.
- At least 7 years of combined HR, Organization Development, or consulting experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on Organization Development or Organization Design.
- Relevant prior experience may include Organization Development Lead, Senior Organization Development Specialist, HR Manager with an OD scope, or Organization Development Consultant.
- Experience in manufacturing, export-oriented businesses, FMCG, or consulting is required; continuous manufacturing and multi-site environments are preferred.
- Expert/Architect-level capability in Organization Design (L5), including Hay/Mercer-based structure design, span-of-control optimization, and selection of functional, divisional, or matrix models.
- Expert/Architect-level capability in Job Architecture & Grading (L5), including Hay methodology, job families, job evaluation, career-path frameworks, and company-wide JD governance.
- Leading-level capability in Competency Framework Design (L4), covering behavioral and functional competencies and integration with career paths, KPI systems, and performance reviews.
- Leading-level capability in Document & Records Governance (L4), including document-control procedures, master registers, version control, approval workflows, and ISO 30301 records-management principles.
- Leading-level capability in Change Management (L4), with practical knowledge of methodologies such as Kotter, ADKAR, or Prosci, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, resistance management, and post-go-live impact measurement.
- No specific professional certification is mandatory; candidates must demonstrate practical methodology mastery through relevant work portfolios. SHRM-SCP, CIPD Level 7, Hay Methodology, Mercer Job Architecture, Korn Ferry Hay Group, or ISO 30301 certifications are preferred.
- Native Vietnamese and working English sufficient to collaborate with international consultants and support on-site audits; IELTS 7.0+, TOEIC 850+, or equivalent working proficiency is stated as the benchmark. Presentation-level fluent English is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Office 365 and organization-chart tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro, together with document-management tools; SAP HANA HR, Power BI, Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or SharePoint document management are preferred.
- Meticulous in both document form and content, resilient through change cycles, willing to challenge constructively to protect standards, and focused on enabling others to perform better.
