Head of Warehouse (Nationwide)

Due to continued growth and overall expansion, there are some strategic recruitment needs for the following positions to upgrade the organization and enhance people capability.

Summary

Our partner is seeking an accomplished Head of Warehouse with experience in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry. The job holder will be responsible for managing warehouse operations across four factories nationwide, developing people capabilities, processes, and procedures to achieve key performance indicators and meet business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Setting up and implementing the action plan to achieve the objectives of Finished Goods Warehouse, ensure to align with business objectives in short-term (1 year) and long-term (3 years) strategies.
• Establishing and implementing control warehouse operational budgets, warehouse management systems to ensure efficiency.
• Assessing and determining necessary resources (human, financial, material) and allocating appropriately for each job position to achieve the goals and activities of the Warehouse.
• Advising on the identification and development of necessary resources for warehouses at the Plants to ensure suitability and effective operation to achieve warehouse operation goals.
• Managing and supervising the creation of Sales Order (SO) returns, Delivery Order (DO) returns of returned bottle shells, plastic crates, pallets, and finished products from customers.
• Checking and supervising the actual and SAP processes of bottle shell, plastic crate, pallet, Non-Conformance Report (NCR) products, Point of Sale Materials (POSM), complying strictly with procedures and regulations.
• Organizing and supervising the Import of Finished Goods from production, transferring between companies to the total warehouse – lifting, preserving, storing, and performing the Export of Finished Goods to the sales warehouse in compliance with First In, First Out (FIFO), First Expired, First Out (FEFO) principles, ensuring exact quantity, type, and time alignment between actual operations and SAP.
• Implementing control of import-export-storage-classification, repair, proposing processing of various pallets. Organizing and supervising the shipment (Finished products, pallets, POSM) including actual and SAP systems to the correct customers, quantity, type, and time, adhering to procedural guidelines, aiming to satisfy customers.
• Organizing and implementing processes of import-export-storage, preservation of scrap materials, waste products, and hazardous waste compliance with procedural process, accuracy, completeness between SAP and actual control and implementation of regulations on storage, classification of hazardous waste ensuring compliance with the law.
• Operating the management of forklift operations for the import/export scope of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company regulations and forklift operation requirements, meeting timely lifting and moving needs, safety, accuracy. Implementing related operation, repair, maintenance procedures for forklifts, ensuring department staff compliance.
• Coordinating with the Accounting department to organize periodic/surprise warehouse inventory checks to detect discrepancies (if any) for correction and improvement.
• Organizing and implementing analysis, risk identification, and opportunities in the warehouse operation planning process to meet supply chain requirements to optimize costs and minimize losses (inventory, slow-moving goods, expired goods, transportation costs, spills, goods losses, incorrect deliveries…).
• Designing and adjusting policies, procedures, regulations, work instructions to optimize resources for Product & Shell warehouses ensuring effective and efficient operation.
• Proposing, implementing, and executing projects/systems/technologies, etc., to reduce costs and increase productivity.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or Master’s Degree) in Supply Chain/Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related majors.
• Minimum 8-10 years of solid experience in warehouse operations and inventory control management, with at least 5 years at the management level.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams of at least 100 warehouse staffs in the large-scale manufacturing organizations.
• Solid experience in managing large warehouses in the food and beverage or FMCG manufacturing organization.
• Ability to handle complex situations and problem-solving skill.
• Ability to drive teams to achieve business results.
• Good knowledge of SAP or WMS.
