Business Development Assistant Manager

Our strategic partner is a a leading provider of high-quality abrasive materials for the precision engineering sector, offering a comprehensive range of solutions for surface finishing and material cutting across steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic applications.

Location: Thu Duc, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Develop monthly/quarterly business development plans targeting new customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls to target clients to understand their needs, build strong relationships, and expand business opportunities.
  • Participate in networking activities and industry events to connect with potential customers and promote products.
  • Gather market intelligence within the industry and promote product awareness through appropriate social media channels to reach and engage potential clients.

Quotation Management:

  • Receive and process quotation requests from assigned customers via email and phone.
  • Collaborate with and support superiors in preparing quotations, negotiating with customers, and closing deals.
  • Prepare draft contracts based on approved templates and obtain necessary approvals.

Reporting (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly):

  • Provide weekly reports to superiors on the profit/loss performance of assigned accounts.
  • Review performance against KPIs and report results monthly.
  • Submit monthly reports on business development calls and customer visit frequency.
  • Provide updates on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Education background in Economics, Business, Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development roles (B2B).
  • Proven understanding and experience in developing business plans and acquiring new customers.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and sales skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Good English communication skills are an advantage.
