Finance Manager

Our strategic partner belongs to an international retailer headquartered in the Netherlands, specializing in manufacturing wooden, metal, and plastic interior and exterior furniture. They are currently expanding their business operations in Vietnam and are seeking to fill key positions for this new market.

Location: Binh Dinh, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the replication and setup of the financial and accounting reporting system at the factory to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the full set of accounts in a timely manner. Ensure all accounts and reports are prepared according to statutory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with the disclosure requirements, accounting standards and local tax laws.
  • Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, financial analyses, tax reports, and other statutory reports, including monthly and yearly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Oversee the preparation of documents for corporate income tax (CIT) finalization reports. Monitor all tax-related issues and ensure comprehensive tax compliance.
  • Provide support and guidance during audits. Advise other departments on tax-related matters and concerns.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members.
  • Handle day-to-day finance and accounting related duties.
  • Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, and adhere to company financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance or other relevant disciplines with minimum 8 years solid working experience in manufacturing costing.
  • Chief Accountant Certificate required.
  • Highly collaborative with solid management skills.
  • Able to supervise a sizable team and manage the full set of manufacturing accounts and accounting system development.
  • Proficiency in English & able to communicate at all levels.
  • Experience with multinational or sizable organization is an advantage.
  • Experience in ERP systems is a must.

  • Has strong affinity and plan execution ability.
  • Clear logical thinking, the ability to collect, organize, analyze data, and build a planning database, sensitive to numbers, and able to detect production data anomalies in a timely manner.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, able to handle unexpected abnormal affairs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Mature, able to work independently, well organized and detailed-minded.
  • Has a strong sense of work responsibility and effectively controls waste in the production process.
  • Able to handle emergencies.
