Job Responsibilities
Activity & Operational Planning
- Proactively seek out and establish relationships with prospective customers to grow the business.
- Deliver targeted sales revenue and meet account objectives within the assigned budget parameters.
- Develop and sustain productive, long-term relationships with assigned clients.
- Take full ownership of customer orders from receipt through final delivery, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure sales initiatives and customer projects are executed effectively.
- Track and manage Accounts Receivable to support timely customer payments and financial health.
- Monitor finished goods inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels in line with approved limits.
- Collaborate with sales management to shape customer engagement approaches and overall market strategy.
- Work alongside cross-functional leaders to encourage teamwork and maintain a professional work culture.
- Act as the central communication link between Sales and the Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Quality teams to uphold product quality standards.
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and support team members, serving as the main resource for guidance and issue resolution.
- Assist employees in achieving their individual development goals in alignment with company priorities.
- Lead the team in meeting defined performance benchmarks for service, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Manage overall staff performance, including attendance, development, corrective actions, and recognition initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to drive high levels of performance and accountability.
- Cultivate a positive team environment that promotes engagement, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
Job Requirements
- University degree from a recognized institution.
- Background in the Packaging or FMCG sectors is required, with experience in business analysis, sales, marketing, business development or product management.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience, including at least 2 years of prior experience in a similar managerial position.
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis, team leadership, client service.
- Solid business sense with a strong focus on results and self-motivation.
- Fluent in both English and the local language (written and verbal).
- Dedication to client needs with a track record of improving customer satisfaction.
- Skilled at spotting and acting on chances to increase revenue and profit.
