Pilot Coordinator

With a well-established international presence, the company is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and seeking qualified professionals to support the establishment of its local operations and drive long-term growth.

Location: Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Summary

Our strategic partner is seeking a Pilot Coordinator to support business development and local coordination in Phu Quoc alongside the Pilot Manager and company Director. The role covers market research, partner and government engagement, reporting, and support for establishing local operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Support business development and local coordination in Phu Quoc alongside the Pilot Manager and company Director.
• Research the local beverage industry and informal waste collection sector.
• Independently contact scrap dealers to conduct market research and interviews.
• Arrange meetings with potential partners, including beverage companies, HORECA operators, service providers, and real estate agents.
• Provide interpretation during meetings with international visitors when required.
• Coordinate activities with local government bodies.
• Prepare market reports and present findings to the Pilot Manager and colleagues.
• Support the initial coordination and establishment of the company in Phu Quoc.

Job Requirements

• At least from 5–7 years of professional experience in business development or a related field, with strong relationship-building and management skills and solid business acumen.
• Experience in business operations related to the Deposit Return System (DRS) is highly preferred.
• Reliable, energetic, and able to work independently to support the company’s establishment in Phu Quoc.
• Flexible in adapting responsibilities and tasks during the startup period.
• Strong fact-finding skills and the ability to engage with local authorities, scrap dealers, prospective partners, and international colleagues.
• Must reside in Phu Quoc and have in-depth knowledge of the island, local networks, and local working practices.
• Practical ability, motivation, and demonstrated results take priority over formal education.
• Fluency in English and a valid driving licence.
