Bridge Software Engineer

Summary

Our strategic partner is seeking a Bridge Software Engineer to connect Japanese customers with Vietnamese engineering teams and support successful project delivery. The role clarifies technical requirements, coordinates communication, and supports system maintenance, improvements, and project management. Technology stacks, domains, and clients will be discussed during interviews and matched to candidate experience and available projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Bridge Japanese customers and engineering teams, explaining complex technical topics clearly in Japanese.
• Manage technical requirements, clarify specifications, and align business processes with stakeholders.
• Coordinate maintenance and improvement work, including issue investigation and system enhancements.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide effective responses to customer inquiries.
• Combine BrSE and project management duties to support effective delivery and communication.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, with a career background in development, engineering, or IT support.
• Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher; a JLPT certificate is not required.
• At least 5 years of experience, including approximately 2–3 recent years as a BrSE, BSE, Bridge System Engineer, or Bridge Software Engineer.
• Strong software development knowledge supported by practical technical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing projects involving direct customer engagement.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working onsite in Japan or with Japanese enterprise customers.
• Intermediate or higher conversational English.
• Experience in infrastructure or Data projects is an advantage.
