Summary
Our strategic partner is seeking a Procurement Staff to execute daily purchasing activities in line with approved processes, supplier requirements, and commercial terms. The role supports supply continuity, purchasing-cost optimization, supplier development, order follow-up, purchasing documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive purchase requests from internal departments, prepare purchasing plans based on production, business, and inventory needs, and place and monitor purchase orders.
- Source, evaluate, select, and develop suitable suppliers; collect and compare quotations and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, payment conditions, and delivery schedules, and prepare, review, and track purchasing contracts.
- Monitor supplier production and delivery progress, coordinate with the warehouse for receiving and inspection, and resolve delays, quantity discrepancies, or quality issues.
- Analyze market pricing, control purchasing expenditure against budget, and recommend cost-saving or purchasing-efficiency improvements.
- Maintain purchasing records including quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices, and update purchasing information in the management system or ERP.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Accounting, Production, Sales, QA/QC, and Technical teams throughout the purchasing process and support resolution of order-related issues.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, preferably covering raw materials, packaging, general supplies, and mechanical & electrical (M&E) purchasing.
- Experience handling both domestic and international procurement is preferred, including supplier sourcing, quotation collection and comparison, negotiation, and order follow-up.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Experience using ERP systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Proactive, responsive, and willing to coordinate closely with internal departments and external suppliers.
