Technical Manager

Our strategic partner is an international company, known for its trusted brand and reputable standing in the advertising industry with a history of significant achievements. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Technology Evaluation and Integration:
    • Assist in evaluating and selecting new technologies to enhance existing systems and infrastructure.
    • Integrate chosen technologies into product architectures that support and align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • System Analysis and Solution Design:
    • Analyze current system issues and policies, providing solutions and guidance on technical challenges.
    • Lead the creation of technical policies, set direction, and make critical decisions to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Optimization and Scalability:
    • Design, optimize, and maintain system infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and resource efficiency.
    • Implement improvements to enhance system reliability and operational effectiveness.
  • Development Project Leadership:
    • Define and implement requirements for new development projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and Agile methodologies.
    • Establish and refine development processes to streamline project delivery and improve team productivity.
  • Technical Leadership and Code Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain high-quality code standards through code reviews, implementing best practices, and contributing to codebase enhancements.
    • Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Incident Management and Communication:
    • Manage delivery processes and incidents effectively to minimize downtime and ensure smooth system operations.
    • Communicate clearly and proactively with team members and stakeholders to address technical issues and drive resolutions.
  • Training and Skill Development:
    • Facilitate engineer training programs and create opportunities for skill development within the team.
    • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Product Development and Innovation:
    • Contribute to the development of new products and enhancements to existing services, leveraging technical expertise and market insights.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical roles with progressive responsibility, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong proficiency in system design, architecture, and implementation, with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic technical decisions under pressure.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring technical teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to maintaining code quality, conducting thorough code reviews, and implementing coding standards.
