Supplier Relationship Manager

Our strategic partner is a popular brand in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. The company has achieved significant success and has recently invested in production line technology and infrastructure. Due to continued growth and overall expansion, there are some strategic recruitment needs for the following positions to upgrade the organization and enhance people capability.

Location: Binh Duong, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with suppliers to foster a foundation of trust and transparency in the market.
  • Measure and manage supplier satisfaction through regular surveys and feedback channels. Utilize these insights to drive internal process improvements, resolve issues, and prevent the recurrence of non-conformities.
  • Develop and implement tailored relationship strategies based on supplier segmentation. Regularly evaluate supplier performance and manage a comprehensive scorecard system to track key metrics.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for suppliers on-site. Provide logistical support during the delivery and receiving processes at the factory, including assisting with the management of scrap or damaged goods, to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Monitor contract and purchase order compliance from execution through to final acceptance and payment, ensuring adherence to all terms and promoting a high level of supplier satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree or MBA is a significant advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or supplier relationship management role within a large-scale organization.
  • Direct experience in the Food & Beverage industry is a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign trade, international business transactions, and corporate finance.
  • Professional knowledge across various procurement categories such as raw materials (for beverage and packaging), machinery, equipment, corporate services, media services, real estate, and project-based procurement.
  • Proven ability in market analysis and strategic sourcing development.
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, SAP Ariba), BI tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Fluency in English is required, with excellent business communication skills.
