Regional Sales Manager

Our strategic partner is a leading Singaporean multinational that operates in over 54 countries. The company’s core business is in the FMCG and chemical sectors, among others.

Location: HCMC, the Southeast and Southwest regions.

Summary

Our strategic partner is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations, trade marketing execution, and distribution management within assigned territories. Reporting to the Head of Retail and HoReCa, this role manages a team of Marketing Supervisors and works closely with distributors and cross-functional departments to deliver sales volume, revenue, market share, coverage, and other commercial targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for understanding market conditions, distribution networks, sales history, regional characteristics, and key business foundations in order to prepare plans for sales volume, revenue, market share, sales mix, coverage, and other required performance indicators, and cascade these plans to Marketing Supervisors and distributors in the assigned region to achieve company targets.
  • Manage, train, coach, supervise, evaluate, and motivate direct subordinates and distributor sales teams to build an effective multi-product and multi-category distribution system.
  • Develop quarterly and monthly plans to improve the distribution system in alignment with the company’s strategy.
  • Work with business categories to propose, implement, monitor, and measure the effectiveness of trade promotion programs within the assigned region or channel.
  • Research and recommend selling prices that help maintain the competitiveness of company products while supporting profitability for both the company and distributors.
  • Guide, support, monitor, and evaluate distributors to improve operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with the company’s distribution policies and strategies.
  • Coordinate with Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Brand teams to implement long-term promotional programs, display programs, point-of-sale display management, and BTL activities.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service team to ensure product supply from factories can meet market demand.
  • Prepare reports on sales volume, revenue, pricing, market situation, and other reports in accordance with company policy or as assigned by higher management.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred age ranges from 35 to 45 years old and ability to work effectively under high pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, particularly in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in marketing within the FMCG industry is preferred.
  • Strong management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for business when required.
