R&D Senior Specialist

Our strategic partner is a market leader in dairy and nutritional products with over two decades of development and more than 6,000 employees worldwide, pioneering advanced nutritional science and technology to create products meeting international standards.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

Research and Development of New Products:

• Develop, establish formulations, research proposals, and highlight key features of new products that meet the company’s NPD requirements.
• Implement the application of new product formulations and production processes for mass production across relevant departments and factories.
• Manage and issue TCKT, BOM, QTSX, TCB, and related regulations for new products.
• Manage the use of additives and labeling information in compliance with legal regulations.
• Collaborate with Marketing to conduct external sensory evaluations (if applicable).
• Source and develop new raw materials for new products.

Improvement of Formulations and Processes for Existing Products:

• Update information on competing products in the market.
• Establish improvements to existing product formulations and processes in line with the company’s development direction.
• Source and evaluate alternative raw materials to ensure supply chain continuity.

Providing Information Related to Export Products:

• Draft and provide technical documents and documents related to production formulas for export projects.

Handling Issues Related to Assigned Products:

• Address issues related to formulation, process, troubleshooting,., as directed by management.
• Plan and participate with teams in evaluating and testing new equipment lines (if applicable).

Other:

• Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors in alignment with the overall job objectives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Chemistry/ Food Technology.
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D position in the Dairy/ Food & Beverage industry.
• A minimum tenure of 2.5 – 3 years at each previous company.
• Experience with OEM (domestic or international markets).
• English proficiency in all four skills.
• Good communication skills, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
