QA Manager

Our strategic partner is leading player in the Building Materials industry.

Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Responsibility:

• Fully comply with OHS and ENV
• Manage serious, medium & near hit incidents
• Keep track of hazards in works & risk control at high & medium risk
• Follow the OH&S regulation at workplace

Serve as the Primary Quality Control Resource for Problem Identification, Resolution and Continuous Improvement:

• Review statistical data from the production and product quality
• Perform root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify specific problems or trends over time then to identify effective corrective actions
• Develop and monitor continuous improvement programs

Select New Materials or Change the Existing One to Another:

• Work with procurement department to help formulate quality standards for the goods
• Arrange trials for new materials at laboratory and industrial scales to collect data for decision making

Process and Product Development:

• Participate in design stage of product development project
• Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing
• Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes

People Development:

• Work with manufacturing team & HR to prepare QA succession plan
• Prepare and deliver technical knowledge, experiences of process and quality control of cement manufacturing to QA team.

Compliance with Products Norms and Quality Management Systems:

• Auditing systems in place
• Preventive and corrective actions

Job Requirements

• Graduated from a technical university
• Knowledge in cement manufacturing, process and quality control, quality management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
• Min 5 years in cement industry, 3 years in management position
• Leadership Competencies: drive results, collaboration & influence, customer & market focus, challenge convention, engage & inspire, attract and retain talent and build great team, transformation strategic.
