Merchandiser Specialist (Japanese)

Our strategic partner is a leading multinational company in the textile and apparel manufacturing industry.

Job Responsibilities 

• Manage and oversee orders from Japanese clients from order receipt, sample development, sample approval to shipment completion.
• Coordinate communication with Japanese clients, factories, and internal teams including purchasing, production, and quality control.
• Monitor sample development progress, revise and confirm samples in accordance with customer requirements.
• Track production schedules to ensure orders are completed and delivered on time.
• Supervise product quality, arrange inspections (internal or third-party), and resolve issues occurring during the production process.
• Prepare and manage relevant documents such as purchase orders, invoices, packing lists; support shipment arrangements, monitor logistics progress, and update order status to supervisors and clients.

Job Requirements 

• Japanese proficiency equivalent to N3 level, ability to read English is an advantage.
• College or University degree.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience. Experience in the garment industry is preferred.
• Good communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
