Lamination Supervisor

Location: Binh Duong, Vietnam

SUMMARY

Our Partner seeks an accomplished Lamination Supervisor with experience in the flexible packaging industry. The primary role of this position is to control the operations of the Tandem Extrusion, Dry Laminating to achieve planned product level and consistent quality at optimum cost.

The position ensures that production and capital works are planned, developed and implemented on time and within budget, execute all activities on the production line toward “safely producing the high-quality products and complying with legal requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Developing, implementing, and driving action plans to achieve stated departmental business and objectives.

· Developing and managing personal work plan objectives of immediate subordinates.

· Ensuring performance meets product quality requirements.

· Coordinating with relevant departments, regions, and segments to drive efficient practices and reduce losses.

· Identifying specific opportunities for product quality improvement.

· Working with inter departmental manager for the implementation of quality improvement projects.

· Making the quality checklists for input, process, and output phases.

· Designing or improving tools in the production line to enhance product quality and productivity.

· Ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production facilities and a clean work environment

· Planning and controlling the expenses of activities, materials and manpower to meet the agreed budget.

· Leading staff to achieve productivity, quality and service objectives.

· Training staff in regard to the needs of the operation.

· Implementing annual human resources plan.

· Establishing recruitment standards for all positions.

· Driving accountability in the team at every opportunity by encouraging creative ideas.

· Ensuring all Company’s relevant Standard, Operations Procedures and Policies are addressed to and strictly adhered to by the employees.

· Implementing activities as documented in the Company’s Quality and Environment Manual

· Performing other tasks that may be assigned by the Management or Production Manager

· Reports performance monthly, quarter and yearly in accordance with company guidelines and system.

· Maintaining a good filing system for all documents in both soft and hard copies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· Education background in Engineering or Technology with 01 – 03 years of working experience and proven track record in film lamination process, preferably in the flexible packaging industry.

· Strong understanding of management principles and methodologies

· General process analysis and good knowledge of raw materials, chemistry of adhesives and film packaging.

· Experience in coordinating with different departments to solve problems in an efficient manner.

· Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication skills.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
