Human Resources Specialist (C&B)

As an HR Specialist at PeopleWise, you will primarily be responsible for managing Compensation & Benefits (C&B) to ensure accurate payroll calculations for PeopleWise Vietnam and our strategic partners. In addition to overseeing payroll computations, you will provide ongoing support both internally and externally, including HR operations, employee relationship management, and maintaining professional support for the PeopleWise team and our partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compute monthly payroll, Personal Income Tax (PIT), staff allowances, and bonuses in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare monthly/periodic internal payroll reports, costing reports, PIT reports, and other statutory reports for relevant authorities.
  • Manage HR operations and benefits administration as well as general HR administration.
  • Report to management on payroll operations status, including processing timeframes, leave calculations, employee errors, and other issues.
  • Develop plans for automating the payroll process, such as utilizing automated timeframes and database updates.
  • Analyze complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance with government regulations regarding taxes, insurance, and other employee benefits.
  • Prepare payroll activity reports for clients.
  • Complete payroll tax forms and tax reports, filing them with appropriate agencies.
  • Maintain and update employee records.
  • Assist managers and clients in understanding payroll processes, labor laws, and consult on staffing/payroll services for new clients.
  • Manage staff database, labor contracts, and overtime records.
  • Support Managers in annual salary reviews, performance evaluations, promotion programs, etc.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in payroll processing, C&B administration, or HR operations.
  • Previous experience in payroll and outsourcing firms preferred.
  • Expertise in payroll, insurance, and tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
