General Manager

Summary

Our strategic partner is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead its Vietnam operations. This role is responsible for driving business growth, managing overall operations, and ensuring profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, a deep under-standing of the FMCG sector, and proven experience in P&L management.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
• Sales & Commercial Management: Strengthen relationships with key FMCG clients and support the sales team in achieving targets.
• Financial & P&L Management: Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and cost control to ensure sustainable profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations, ensuring high production efficiency, quality control, and compliance with industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead a workforce of 500–700 employees, fostering a strong corporate culture and ensuring talent development.
• Supply Chain & Engineering: Manage local team and collaborate with regional supply chain and engineering teams to optimize production and delivery processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Report to regional leadership team and align local operations with broader corporate goals.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A technical background is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in general management, sales, or operations, preferably in the FMCG or B2B sector.
• Strong network and business relationships within the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record in P&L management and driving business growth.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (Business Level).
• Preferred experience working with multinational FMCG companies
• Previous experience as a General Manager or Director in a similar industry.
