Summary
Our Partner seeks an accomplished Finance Director with experience in the Food & Beverage industry. This position is responsible for managing all financial aspect of BU annual plan, operation plan to ensure financial resources are effectively invested and control once invested, financial risk is identified and managed (ROI, ROCE, ROA).
Job Responsibilities
Manage Capital Usage:
- As a member of the strategic management team, will be responsible for establishing policies and procedure and operating mechanism, long-term business planning, strategic financial guidance to senior management
- Act as a key advisor on financial matters to the executive team, ensuring alignment of financial strategy with company goals that will ensure effective investment, management of capital investment, effective utilization of capital and added to share holder value.
- Organize to implement these policies and system related to finance, lead to set up COA for BU.
- Develop and implement effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks
- Lead the development and implementation of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all factories to improve financial processes and align them with current business needs
- Review and enhance existing financial processes and workflows to ensure they are efficient and scalable in line with the company’s ongoing transformation
- Oversee the management of working capital, cash flow, and ensure liquidity for operational needs
- Present financial results and forecasts to the Board of Directors, shareholders, and other stakeholders
- Support the company’s transformation initiatives by providing financial insights, tools, and support to ensure successful change management.
Budgeting:
- Develop and manage annual budget system of the company
- Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Monitor actual performance against budgets, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial targets
- Lead the forecasting process across multiple locations to provide the most accurate financial outlook for the business
- Assessing operational efficiency and the effectiveness of production and identifying accountability for profit variance.
- Oversee the preparation, consolidation, and accuracy of financial statements for all factories
Financial Report:
- Administer monthly management reporting from financial accounting, preparing and analyzing monthly actual against budget variances and historical data.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations
- Ensure that all financial processes are streamlined, compliant, and optimized for cost management and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the recording and establishment of all financial reports (BS, PnL, Financial statement notes) accurately, completely and promptly for each item according to accounting standards, company policies and regulations, provisions of current tax law.
Cost Control:
- Establish setting of standard labor and overhead rates, standards review and monitor variances against standard
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue optimization across all factories and departments.
- Perform detailed cost analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve overall profitability.
Operation:
- Set up and manage Finance division ensure effectiveness of the division according to functional role and responsibility and efficient use of resources, meeting company and regulatory requirement
- Set up objective for the division, department make performance evaluation based on KPI division
- Organize, lead and oversee the day-to-day management and budget of the BU and divisions.
- Provide training and developing staff with the objective of improving the productivity of the division.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring strong talent retention and continuous professional development
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within the finance function.
- Supervise and control employee performance to ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Review the workflow from time to time to update the job responsibilities of subordinate and manage delegation and monitoring of performance
- Review, edit and issue policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure adequate basis for operation.
- Provide financial information to related stakeholder and advice BUs Head and the Board of Management investment decision ensure timely and accurate information to serve management and operations
- Review company activities to identify company’s exposure to external risk, non-compliance with statutory tax regulations, loss of assets, etc.
- Together with the Project team, analyzing possibility of investment project as basis for investment decision.
- Make report as required: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate reports to management and stakeholders
- Overall control of the company and its subsidiary and its invested company accounting function (financial control & management accounting) and accounting information
- Overall control of BU and its invested company accounting function and accounting information, ensure it meet company policy and regulation.
- Actively be involved in setting and managing the Strategy of the Company, then download to the action plan to department under division including formulating financial targets and budgets in accordance with the strategy determined by the Board of members
- Analysis information from all divisions of company operation in order to identify most optimized way to use cost. Coordinate with related parties to implement these initiative after they are approved
Job Requirements
- University degree in Finance or Accounting. ACCA Certificate or equivalent Accounting Professional Organization is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English
- At least 10 years experiences in the same roles
- Ability to apply analytical skills and interpret information gathered from a variety of sources.
- Understanding of organizational structure, operating culture, effective work styles and management processes to achieve results in a changing environment.
- Strong management skill
