Demand Planning Manager

The company has achieved significant success and has recently invested in production line technology and infrastructure. Due to continued growth and overall expansion, there are some strategic recruitment needs for the following positions to upgrade the organization and enhance people capability.

Summary

Our Partner seeks an accomplished Demand Planning Manager with experience in the Food & Beverage industry. This position is responsible for the entire sales planning process, from forecasting and target setting to analyzing results and collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment and achievement of company objective.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and establish: AOP, sales targets, sales demand forecasts, etc. approved annually, reviewed monthly and quarterly in accordance with reality by coordinating with relevant departments in the company short term (1 year), medium term (3 years) and long term to analyze and find the causes and develop plans to achieve targets
  • Make plans of company’s need monthly, quarterly and annually effectively, exactly and on time
  • Collaboration with RSCM, Marketing, Trade Marketing & Route To Market departments to establish assumptions to make selling plans in short-term and long-term
  • Organize and control S&OP meetings to reach an agreement in company’s target
  • Update sales forecasts and key data to SAP; Evaluate results after updating so that MRP runs on target to ensure sales demand is accurately provided to the Supply Planning
  • Allocate sales by SKU, according to RDC sent to the Supply Planning department to plan raw materials, production plans and transportation plans
  • Prepare and present GAP reports, Demand review in S&OP meetings, receive information on supply capacity constraints to make appropriate sales forecasts
  • Analyze sales data, compare with Company goals and send to marketing, trade marketing department and request them to find the causes and make plans to achieve targets through Gap meeting.
  • Monitoring and reporting on important changes in forecasts, budgets and business strategies.
  • Evaluate forecast deviations, analyze causes and find improvement solutions
  • Coordinate with Supply, Marketing, Trade to have a plan to resolve SLOB goods regarding FG and RM (finished products and raw materials).
  • Coordinate with Supply Planning in controlling inventory to avoid risks of excess or shortage of goods, and update forecasts (if necessary).  Anticipating and mitigating risks such as demand volatility, supply chain disruption or market.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in supply chain management or production.
  • Knowledge of sales forecasting and supply chain management.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in supply chain and production planning.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in the beverage industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent English communication skills (both spoken and written).
