Our strategic partner belongs to an international retailer headquartered in Europe, specializing in manufacturing interior and exterior furniture. They are currently expanding their business operations in Vietnam and are seeking to fill key positions for this new market.
Location: Binh Dinh, Vietnam
Job Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Lead Human Resource Team to assure a fully functional Human Resource workflow for office at Vietnam.
- HR manager (HRM) leads to find a fully functional HR team from scratch to maturity for office at Vietnam.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Leading recruitment process like creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with all the managers to identify skill requirements.
- Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new hires by coordinating orientation, training, and necessary paperwork. Handle offboarding processes when employees leave the company.
Regulation and Policy:
- Monitoring implementation of HR policy and procedure
- Compensation and Benefits programs: ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Employee Relations including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances.
- Policy and Compliance: Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant with labor laws, and consistent with company-wide HR policies.
- Workforce Planning: Anticipate talent needs and work with leadership to develop workforce planning strategies to meet future demands.
- Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to foster a positive and engaging work environment for employees.
Training, Development and Career Management:
- Employee Development and Training: Work with all the managers to identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employees’ skills and knowledge.
- Career Pathing and Succession Planning: Collaborate with all the managers to develop career paths for each employee and identify potential successors for key roles.
Performance Measurement and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement performance management systems for all the employees, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and identifying areas for improvement.
Payroll process:
- Process and prepare Staff payroll for each month
- Checking and clarify attendance report with all outlets
- Checking and verify with all support doccuments (Overtime pay, Staff Transfer, New Staff, Resignation Staff, Staff Lateness and Absent…)
- Assisting Operation Manager and Director of Operation to do Yearly Performance Appraisal
- Deal with HR issue regarding to staff issue, poor performance, regulation and policy issue
Office Administration & Other:
- Manage the admin team, including receptionist, maid, drivers and IT, …
- Manage office equipments, furniture, stationeries, staff amenities (tea, coffee), etc.
- Manage factory maintenance, external relations
- Assist overseas employees (Visa application, shipping, demobilization, airfare, etc.) as they demobilize from China
Job Requirements
- College degree or above in HR management, business management related majors.
- Top tier business school graduate (master’s in human resource management is plus)
- 12+ years of total and 8 years of management in multi-national company or start-up company is a plus.
- Ability to work with an organization at different stages of growth.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- People oriented and results driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Have strong goal orientation and ability to deal with ambiguity; ability to think through and act on different options with fast-paces business growth needs.
- Be hard-working and diligent, disciplined to convert strategy into action.
- Experience on performance management of external suppliers (e.g security company, waste treatment company, infrastructure company, etc)
- Good at government relationship buildup and maintenance
- Able to handle emergencies.
- Good English-speaking ability
- Proficient in MS Office
Personal Quality Requirement
- Has strong affinity and plan execution ability.
- Clear logical thinking, the ability to collect, organize, analyze data, and build a planning database, sensitive to numbers, and able to detect production data anomalies in a timely manner.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, able to handle unexpected abnormal affairs in a timely and effective manner.
- Has a strong sense of work responsibility and effectively controls waste in the production process.
