Summary 

Our strategic partner is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) to support customers in designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Working closely with sales teams, customers, and partners, this role will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and resilient solutions while providing expertise in cloud technologies, migration strategies, high availability, disaster recovery, and security to help organizations achieve their business objectives and digital transformation goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business development and technical teams to identify client objectives, operational challenges, and business requirements.
• Facilitate technical assessment meetings, workshops, and solution presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Develop scalable and resilient technology architectures incorporating availability, recovery, and security considerations.
• Design migration approaches for applications and data platforms to cloud environments based on industry best practices.
• Develop proof-of-concept models and prototype solutions to validate technical approaches.
• Provide technical advisory on cloud platform design, availability architecture across multiple deployment zones and regions, and security implementation.
• Recommend optimization approaches for performance, scalability, and infrastructure spending using cloud-native capabilities.
• Advise customers on network protection strategies, access management, data protection mechanisms, and security governance.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with customer compliance obligations and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with commercial teams to define technical approaches supporting business opportunities.
• Support proposal development activities, including technical responses, solution documentation, and bid submissions.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to establish implementation roadmaps and project deliverables.
• Lead planning activities for enterprise workload migration, including databases, business applications, and enterprise platforms.
• Evaluate existing on-premises environments, perform readiness reviews, and prepare migration strategies.
• Partner with migration teams to ensure successful deployment execution while minimizing operational impact.
• Deliver enablement sessions for customers and partners covering cloud migration methodologies, resilience planning, and security practices.
• Support internal capability development on solution architecture principles and emerging technologies. 

Job Requirements

• Over 5 years of background in technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, or solution design.
• Track record of planning and executing enterprise-level application migrations into AWS.
• Advanced understanding of the AWS ecosystem, specifically across compute, network, storage, database services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS).
• Experience building highly available systems and disaster recovery plans utilizing cloud-native services.
• Solid grasp of cloud security fundamentals, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption methodologies, and industry compliance standards.
• Working knowledge of data replication strategies and AWS migration utilities, such as DMS and DRS.
• Ability to clearly present complex system designs and concepts to a wide range of audiences, from engineering teams to business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for resolving complicated issues and making practical decisions in fast-paced
• Active AWS Solutions Architect credential (at either the Associate or Professional tier).
• Preferred credentials include CISSP or the AWS Security Specialty certification.
• Background in cloud cost management and applying FinOps practices is beneficial.
• Familiarity with platform observability and monitoring solutions (such as Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, or Dynatrace) is a bonus.
• Understanding of container ecosystems (Kubernetes) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows is highly desired.
