Chief Accountant

Our strategic partner is a subsidiary of a leading multinational company in the consumer electronics manufacturing industry, specializing in the electric automobiles sector. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the accounting operations across Showrooms.
  • Review and audit accounting documents related to the company’s revenue and expenditure, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
  • Develop and implement accounting processes to meet the company’s management requirements.
  • Establish procedures to control operating expenses and capital expenditures for fixed assets.
  • Review monthly tax declaration documents, financial reports as per regulations, annual tax finalization documents, and annual financial statements in accordance with current regulations for submission to relevant authorities.
  • Advise the Board of Directors on improving the company’s financial and accounting management system.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by upper management.

Job Requirements

  • Age 27-35, Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Chief Accountant certification.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in the automotive industry or experience working in retail companies with over 300 employees.
  • At least 7 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a Chief Accountant role.
  • Fluent in English or Chinese.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of tax laws, financial accounting principles and standards, and accounting practices (especially tax regulations related to newly established companies and the retail sector).
  • Understanding of the retail industry and ability to anticipate potential risks.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills. Ability to work independently, analyze and solve problems, and have a comprehensive overview of issues.
  • Honest, straightforward and responsible in work.
