Senior Backend Engineer

Our strategic partner is an international company based in Europe, known for its trusted brand and reputable standing in the advertising industry with a history of significant achievements. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

• Network and System Monitoring: Proactively monitor network and system performance to detect and mitigate potential threats and issues, ensuring system reliability and security.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the web application for improved speed, scalability, and efficiency, enhancing overall user experience.
• Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements, tools, and best practices in backend development to continuously improve the product development lifecycle.
• Backend Infrastructure Development: Architect and manage the backend infrastructure of a CRM service application using Python 3, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Feature Development and Enhancement: Collaborate with the business team to translate requirements into technical specifications and implement new features and enhancements to the product.
• Additional Responsibilities: Undertake additional assignments and initiatives as delegated by supervisors, contributing to the overall success and growth of the engineering team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Python 3 and backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security practices, and system monitoring tools.
• Experience in optimizing web applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Familiarity with cloud services and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development, staying updated with industry trends and advancements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
