Location: Binh Duong, Vietnam
Job Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Procurement Manager.
- Responsible for procuring all direct flexible packaging materials such as film, ink, foil, paper, solvents, zipper, spout, paraffin wax, and packing materials.
- Provide support to the indirect procurement team as needed.
- Organize biddings and tenders.
- Manage and develop supplier relationships, actively supporting the improvement of their service performance.
- Negotiate and follow up on improvements in credit terms, including extending payable days to suppliers and securing other privileges.
- Contribute to project cost savings initiatives.
- Engage directly in global and regional negotiations.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety and quality standards, as well as legal requirements.
- Potential leadership of a team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree,
- 5 – 10 years of experience in similar positions at multinational companies.
- Proven track record of success.
- Must have experience in raw materials for flexible packaging (Resins, Films, Inks/Adhesives, Paper, etc.).
- Preferred candidates may come from the same industry or direct competitors.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing.
- Driven to achieve results.
- Capable of challenging and influencing others.
- Experienced in project management.
- Effective communication skills with impactful presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently under high pressure.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in indirect sourcing would be an asset.
