Due to continued growth and overall expansion, there are some strategic recruitment needs for the following positions to upgrade the organization and enhance people capability.

Summary

Our Partner seeks an accomplished Senior OHSE Advisor with experience in the Food & Beverage industry. This position is responsible for developing and implementing EOHS strategies, plans and programs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, improve workplace safety and environmental performance, and drive continuous improvement within the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Propose and implement the approved Environment, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS) strategy to ensure the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s management system. This includes effectively deploying long-term, mid-term and annual strategies, plans and projects to meet the company’s development needs, satisfy customer/consumer needs and meet the expectations of relevant stakeholders.
  • Propose and implement company-wide management system assessment plans (including internal and external audits), environmental management programs, workplace environment improvement programs, emergency response plans and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for EOHS, with the aim to achieve company objectives and meet applicable published standards and local authority requirements, even in the event of incidents.
  • Implement approved plans, programs and activities. Evaluate the results of inspections and practical monitoring to identify non-conformities and/or early detection of risks that could lead to non-conformities. Develop effective solutions, including root cause analysis and preventive actions, to control the quality of services and ensure occupational health and safety in accordance with applicable published standards.
  • Implement approved plans, programs and activities for system improvement based on Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies within the beverage industry, with the aim to achieve targets for internal and external customer satisfaction, as well as system effectiveness and efficiency, in line with the company’s short-term, mid-term and long-term goals.
  • Train and develop company personnel in the field of EOHS.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or College degree. Preferred majors in: Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Technology or Health Science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position or equivalent role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Professional qualifications related to Environment and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Occupational Safety and Hygiene Basic Training Instructor Certificate (Group 4).
  • Minimum required professional knowledge and skills about: Legislation related to environment and occupational safety and hygiene, and knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 4500 standards.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • English proficiency preferred.
  • Training and presentation skills.
