Finance Manager

Our strategic partner is a leading multinational technology company operating in more than 40 countries, specializing in automated industrial equipment and integrated solutions for industrial and environmental applications. With a well-established international presence, the company is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and seeking qualified professionals to support the establishment of its local operations and drive long-term growth.

Location: Phu Quoc, Vietnam (Hybrid)

Summary

Our strategic partner is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function, including daily accounting, external BPO coordination, and deposit payments. The role provides business updates to the Pilot Leader and company Directors, analyzes collection data, and works with the Scheme Administrator to address fraud and misuse of the deposit return system (DRS).

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and manage daily accounting activities.
• Coordinate with the external BPO partner on tax filings, HR, payroll, and related matters.
• Work with the Scheme Administrator on deposit payments through the escrow account.
• Provide regular business updates to the Pilot Leader and company Directors.
• Analyze collection volumes and sources of bottles and cans to identify potential fraud or misuse of the DRS.
• Coordinate with the Scheme Administrator to resolve fraudulent activities, excessive redemption claims, and related issues.

Job Requirements

• University degree and relevant accounting qualifications and certification.
• At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting, financial reporting, and Excel.
• Reliable, with an analytical mindset.
• Experience reporting to an overseas head office.
• Willingness to reside in Phu Quoc during certain periods, particularly before and during startup.
• Good English communication skills.
