Web Developer

Our strategic partner is a leading executive search and recruitment consultancy operating a proprietary job search and recruitment platform in Vietnam. The platform connects top talent with employers across multiple industries and serves thousands of active users daily, leveraging modern web technologies to deliver a seamless candidate and client experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the our client’s website platform, ensuring stable uptime, performance, and security (updates, patches, backups).
• Configure pages, menus, banners, and content blocks through the October CMS backend.
• Modify and improve page layouts and UI components (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, Twig templates).
• Develop minor new features or adjust existing backend functions (PHP/Laravel, October CMS plugins and components).
• Manage the MySQL database: minor schema changes, data fixes, and exports/reports when requested.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs reported by internal users, candidates, and employer clients.
• Optimize on-page SEO elements (meta tags, page speed, image handling) in coordination with the marketing team.
• Support integrations with third-party services (Google login, chat widgets, email delivery).
• Document changes and maintain simple technical documentation.

Job Requirements

• Working knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework; experience with October CMS / Winter CMS (or a similar CMS such as WordPress) is a strong advantage.
• Solid HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/jQuery skills.
• Basic knowledge of MySQL and simple query writing.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Ability to read technical documentation in English.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, able to work independently on small tasks with minimal supervision.
