Senior Project Manager

Our strategic partner is currently seeking qualified professionals to support an international recruitment project. The initiative focuses on hiring Japanese-speaking Java Developers from Vietnam for relocation opportunities in the Philippines, supporting cross-border technology programs and global workforce expansion.

Summary

Our Partner is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Japanese Bilingual to lead large-scale technology projects and oversee end-to-end project execution within a global business environment. This position supports global clients through digital transformation, hybrid cloud, and AI initiatives.

Job Responsibilities 

• Lead project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
• Manage enterprise-level system development and application support projects.
• Oversee project governance activities including budget control, project scope, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate internal teams, clients, and external service providers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all contractual obligations and business deliverables are completed successfully.
• Handle stakeholder communication and manage escalation processes when necessary.
• Lead workforce planning and project resource allocation activities.
• Prepare project status reports and provide updates to management stakeholders.
• Manage project planning and overall delivery execution.
• Monitor project budgets and operational costs.
• Handle project risks and issue resolution processes.
• Provide leadership to regional and offshore project teams.
• Maintain strong client relationship management practices.
• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and project compliance standards.

Job Requirements 

• Strong experience in project management.
• Experience managing enterprise application-related projects.
• Fluent Japanese communication skills including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Capability to perform English ↔ Japanese translation tasks.
• Strong stakeholder management capability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum working methodologies is preferred.
• JLPT N1–N3 certification is preferred.
• Experience handling projects involving multiple vendors is an advantage.
• Willing to work under a client-based schedule arrangement.
