Vault Administrator

Location: Binh Duong, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the Vault structure, both on the server (ADMS) and client sides, ensuring efficient organization of design data.
  • Set up and manage working folders and project files for users, optimizing workflows and collaboration.
  • Implement and manage Vault security, utilizing both object-based and role-based security models to control user access and permissions.
  • Define and manage categories and category rules to classify and organize design data, enabling efficient searching and reporting.
  • Configure and manage Vault properties, including system properties and user-defined properties (UDPs), to capture critical design data.
  • Implement and manage lifecycle definitions to control the status and revision of design data, ensuring data integrity and facilitating change management processes. Manage state security within lifecycles to further control access and permissions.
  • Configure and maintain revision numbering schemes within Vault, ensuring clear and consistent version control.
  • Manage the Autoloader to automate the process of importing and updating files into the Vault.
  • Administer the Job Server to process background tasks and optimize Vault performance.
  • Configure and utilize duplicate search functionality to identify and prevent duplicate files within the Vault.
  • Manage the Vault Remote Content Library to provide access to standard components and libraries.
  • Implement and maintain a robust backup and recovery strategy for the Vault database, ensuring data security and business continuity. Schedule regular backups and perform recovery operations as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Furniture Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Inventor/Vault Autodesk in an FDI manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Autodesk Vault functionalities, including security, lifecycle management, and property management.
  • Experience with data management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
