Shop Salesperson

Our strategic partner is a leading wine wholesaler and retailer in Asia, currently expanding their operation in the Vietnam market.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

• Build and keep strong relationships with current and new clients, find and grow sales opportunities, and improve the company’s brand image.
• Manage reservations and daily walk-in guest flow.
• Keep the wine shop clean and arrange for facility maintenance.
• Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely way.
• Meet and aim to beat sales goals by promoting and selling company’s wines.
• Provide great customer service by answering customer questions and solving issues.
• Track inventory of wine, retail goods and general supplies.
• Pack shipments, set up delivery and keep accurate order records.
• Help the Shop Manager run onsite events.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales work in the wine industry, or 2+ years of sales work in bars, restaurants, or high-end retail/hospitality.
• Wine education or certification is a plus.
• Experience with advertising or travel agencies is an advantage.
• A real passion for sales, people, and ideally, wine.
• Flexible schedule, with ability to work during busy times.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Can work well alone and as part of a team.
• Able to lift over 18 kg often, use stairs easily, and work on your feet.
