Senior Structural Engineer

Our strategic partner is a multinational professional services company headquartered in Europe, providing design, engineering, architecture, planning, and consulting services across various areas of the built environment. The organization is currently expanding its presence in Vietnam through transportation, urban development, and real estate projects, aiming for long-term and sustainable growth.

Job Responsibilities 

• Take full responsibility and accountability for multiple teams or an entire technical discipline, while directly managing projects when required depending on project scale and complexity.
• Allocate project tasks to Lead Engineers and continuously monitor project performance through review of progress updates.
• Provide technical leadership and professional direction by delivering consultation support and technical development guidance to teams across related disciplines.
• Ensure all operations comply with applicable local Quality Assurance standards and procedures.
• Continuously monitor and report project timelines, resource allocation, and financial performance.
• Support the Group Leader in managing financial aspects of structural engineering projects through effective resource planning aligned with approved budgets and fee structures.
• Contribute to business growth initiatives by supporting the development of new client opportunities and maintaining repeat business relationships.
• Participate in strengthening technical standards and best practices within the discipline through engagement in internal professional networks.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, internal technical networks, and external stakeholders including clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Collaborate with relevant internal and external parties to ensure clear understanding of client expectations and project requirements.

Job Requirements 

• Hold a Grade 1 Structural Engineer certification, with postgraduate qualifications considered an advantage.
• Possess at least 12 years of relevant experience with strong exposure to the design of high-rise buildings, industrial structures, and management of multidisciplinary projects.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in structural analysis and seismic design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP or similar tools.
• Exhibit strong English communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
• Show proven leadership and mentoring capabilities together with effective time and pressure management skills.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively with external stakeholders.
