Senior Sales Manager

Our Partner is a leading multinational company and a pioneer in the flexible packaging manufacturing industry, specializing in sophisticated packaging solutions, delivering unparalleled quality across various sectors, including food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.

Job Responsibilities 

Activity and Work Planning:

  • Find and establish partnerships with new customers.
  • Ensure specific sales revenue targets and account goals are met according to the allocated budget.
  • Maintain strong, positive connections with allocated clients.
  • Oversee client orders from start to finish, capturing and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Work with relevant internal departments to ensure sales projects are completed successfully.
  • Keep track of Accounts Receivable status for clients.
  • Manage finished goods inventory to keep stock levels within approved limits.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to define outreach tactics and broader market strategies.
  • Partner with other functional leaders to foster a cooperative and professional work environment.
  • Product Quality: Act as the link between Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Production, and QC teams.

Leadership:

  • Manage the team and serve as the primary resource for staff inquiries.
  • Help team members execute their personal growth plans in line with company targets.
  • Guide the group to meet defined targets for efficiency, quality, and service.
  • Manage staff performance, including attendance, disciplinary actions, training needs, and rewarding success.
  • Teach and urge employees to perform at their highest level.
  • Build engagement and morale while supporting the team’s professional development.

Health, Safety & Environment:

  • Comply with all legal requirements and environmental safety rules.

Reporting:

  • Keep precise logs and files regarding department operations and meetings.

Complementary Tasks:

  • Handle additional duties as requested by senior management or Head of Sales & Marketing

Job Requirements

  • University degree from a recognized institution.
  • Background in the Packaging or FMCG sectors is required, with experience in business analysis, sales, marketing, business development or product management.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience, including at least 2 years of prior experience in a similar managerial position.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis, team leadership, client service.
  • Solid business sense with a strong focus on results and self-motivation.
  • Fluent in both English and the local language (written and verbal).
  • Dedication to client needs with a track record of improving customer satisfaction.
  • Skilled at spotting and acting on chances to increase revenue and profit.
