Senior CMK Manager

Our partner is one of Vietnam’s largest FMCG companies. Over the years, the company has strongly expanded its product portfolio and optimized its distribution channels, solidifying its leadership position in the branded food and beverage market.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

Business Research & Assessment:

  • Identify issues and growth potential to suggest Jobs to be Done (JTBD) for specific brands.
  • Create and execute market research projects covering categories, shoppers, rivals, customers, and key opinion leaders.
  • Track brand health and gather data to support communication strategies.
  • Establish and maintain a system for monitoring competitor intelligence and market data.

CiLs Building & Management:

  • Recruit members for specific CiL groups and guide discussions to generate enthusiasm and input for innovation and brand goals.
  • Foster strong ongoing relationships with CiL participants to ensure their involvement in product updates.
  • Engage with CiLs to uncover deep consumer insights and urgent needs that our solutions must address to succeed.

Product Development & Assessment:

  • Translate consumer insights into clear solutions for unmet market needs.
  • Define product specifications and collaborate with R&D to identify the necessary technology and models.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the full marketing mix (6Ps), covering everything from concept testing and packaging to TV commercials and post-launch reviews.

Team Management:

  • Guide the team and support the professional growth of individual members.

Additional Duties:

  • Handle other responsibilities as requested by direct supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in research is required, specifically within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong technical research capabilities; experience with qualitative research is preferred.
  • Solid commercial awareness and a drive to positively impact business results.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and skill in managing internal stakeholders to drive progress.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect naturally with consumers.
  • Strong listening skills, empathy, and a curiosity for discovering consumer motivations.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and convert them into strategic business recommendations.
  • Functional knowledge of general marketing principles is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in analysis, communication, teamwork, problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
