Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business strategy for chemical-related products in line with the company’s direction
- Lead and expand the sales team to achieve targets in revenue, market share, and customer coverage
- Identify, approach, and maintain relationships with both existing and potential clients in the chemical sector (industrial applications, raw materials, additives, solvents, basic or specialty chemicals)
- Communicate and negotiate directly with partners, suppliers, or customers from China using Mandarin
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (technical support, procurement, logistics, finance/accounting) to ensure smooth processes in sales execution, delivery, and payment
- Monitor the market, analyze industry movements and competitor activities, and recommend suitable commercial actions
- Oversee contracts, pricing structure, discount terms, and customer receivables management
- Prepare periodic business performance updates for senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in the chemical industry
- Strong understanding of chemical products and market dynamics
- Professional proficiency in both English and Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for work purposes
- Proven capabilities in team leadership, business planning, and negotiation
- Able to work independently and perform well under sales pressure
- Willingness to travel when required.
