PMC Manager

Our strategic partner belongs to an international retailer headquartered in Europe, specializing in interior and exterior furniture. They are currently expanding their business operations in Vietnam and are seeking to fill key positions for this new market.

Location: Binh Dinh, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities 

  • Develops and maintains the Master Production Schedule and detailed shop-floor schedules.
  • The role plans and sequences production orders across multiple divisions to ensure synchronized flow and timely convergence at the packaging stage.
  • Monitors real-time production progress, identifies bottlenecks, and implements dynamic scheduling adjustments to meet production targets.
  • Executes accurate material requirements planning in alignment with production plans.
  • Coordinates phased delivery schedules with an affiliated trading partner in China and closely monitors raw material inventory, in-transit status, and consumption patterns.
  • Leads initiatives to reduce work-in-progress and improve production flow between workshops.
  • Manages overall inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, with a focus on improving inventory turnover.
  • Oversees cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops the PMC team.
  • Serves as the primary coordination point between procurement, quality, warehouse, production teams, and external trading partners.
  • Conducts daily and weekly production and material review meetings to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
  • continuously improves planning, scheduling, and inventory control processes.
  • THE position leverages ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle to ensure data integrity and planning efficiency.
  • Analyzes key performance indicators including on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and inventory turnover, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
  • All operational and production data must be handled with a high level of confidentiality.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in PMC/Supply Chain management roles, including a minimum of 3 years in a large-scale, complex manufacturing environment (e.g. consumer goods, industrial products, or other multi-process manufacturing sectors).
  • Proven capability in coordinating and synchronizing production for products with complex Bills of Materials (BOM) across multiple production lines or workshops.
  • Solid experience in international supply chain coordination with overseas suppliers; experience managing phased or staggered deliveries is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/MPS principles and hands-on experience with a major ERP system (ERP platforms such as SAP are highly preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform under pressure in a multicultural working environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
