About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with a strong background in building scalable REST API web services. This role requires proficiency in the Japanese language to collaborate effectively with Japan-based clients and teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.
Location: Manila, Philippines
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java Spring Boot.
- Build, optimize, and secure REST API web services.
- Collaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment.
- Perform debugging, testing, and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Contribute to the adoption of best practices in software engineering and Agile methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in the Japanese language (JLPT certification preferred but not required).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile frameworks.
