Our strategic partner is a technology platform operating in the passenger transportation service sector, providing online booking solutions and facilitating connections between customers and service operators. The company is expanding its operations in Vietnam and is seeking to strengthen service quality and customer experience through key hires.

Job Type: Contract (6-12 months)

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrations with transportation, travel, OTA, and external service provider APIs.
Create scalable integration components supporting multiple communication standards, including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, SFTP, and Webhooks.
Implement business processes covering search, availability, pricing, reservation, cancellation, and refund transactions.
Build standardized internal service interfaces to simplify interactions with external partners.
Monitor integration performance and maintain system availability.
Develop and maintain integrations with multiple payment service providers.
Implement payment processing functions including authorization, capture, refund, void, and reconciliation.
Handle payment exceptions, retry mechanisms, and idempotent transaction processing.
Ensure secure payment processing aligned with PCI compliance requirements.
Support multiple currencies and localized payment methods.
Work closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product, and Business Development teams to deliver technical solutions.
Keep integrations updated with platform enhancements, partner API revisions, and new business requirements.
Investigate technical issues, monitor recurring incidents, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve or automate repetitive problems.
Communicate technical matters proactively with regional stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
1–3 years of relevant working experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
Ability to independently manage integration initiatives with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities for distributed application environments.
Experience collaborating effectively with remote engineering teams across different time zones.
Ability to understand and interpret third-party API technical documentation.
Proficiency in SQL using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent relational database technologies.
Knowledge of MongoDB and fundamental API architecture.
SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB certifications are advantageous.
Experience using programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript is preferred.
Proficiency in backend software development.
Hands-on experience with at least one backend programming language including Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API architecture and implementation.
Experience working with REST, SOAP, GraphQL, SFTP, and Webhook integration technologies.
Experience developing or supporting third-party API connectors and integration components.
Knowledge of payment gateway integration processes, including authorization, capture, refund, and reconciliation.
Understanding of PCI-DSS principles and secure payment data management.
Knowledge of idempotency, retry mechanisms, and circuit breaker design patterns.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency with Git version control.
Previous experience in backend engineering or technical integration is preferred.
Exposure to travel technology platforms or GDS environments is considered an advantage.
