Head of Trade Marketing

Our strategic partner is a popular brand in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. The company has achieved significant success and has recently invested in production line technology and infrastructure. Due to continued growth and overall expansion, there are some strategic recruitment needs for the following positions to upgrade the organization and enhance people capability.

Location: Binh Duong, Vietnam

Summary

Our Partner seeks an accomplished Head of Trade Marketing with experience in the Food & Beverage industry. This position is responsible for driving and enhancing sales growth, optimizing sales routes and implementing impactful marketing programs across all channels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven trade marketing strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Oversee the management of distribution channels, including distributors and agents to ensure optimal market coverage and product availability.
  • Develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns and promotions across various channels, including modern trade and traditional trade.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer insights to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Manage budgets effectively and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop territory development plans to achieve annual business objectives and oversee the implementation of training programs.
  • Manage team and drive team performance to meet business objective
  • Other tasks as assigned by direct management to support the team to achieve company goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in trade marketing, sales or a related role within the FMCG industry, preferably in the beverage sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of distribution channels, sales operations and trade marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English (both verbal and written).
  • Proficient in SAP, management systems and relevant office software.
