General Accountant

Our strategic partner is an international company specializing in rice milling and value-added rice-based products, supplying both domestic and export markets, with a strong commitment to quality, food safety, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities 

Financial Recordkeeping and Transactions: 

  • Enter and handle daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses) in the accounting system (MISA).
  • Ensure all financial data is recorded, posted, and updated accurately and on time.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including supplier payments and customer collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and ensure cash flow records are correct.

Financial Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Support the preparation of monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports as requested by management and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare basic internal reports related to sales, purchases, inventory, and production activities for management review.

 Tax, Compliance, and Documentation: 

  • Support the preparation and review of VAT, PIT, CIT, and other related tax declarations and reports.
  • Assist in collecting documents and submitting data for external audits and compliance processes.
  • Help ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal control policies.
  • Maintain well-organized documents for audit purposes and regulatory inspections.

 Systems and Process Support:

  • Maintain and utilize accounting software (MISA) for daily bookkeeping and reporting tasks.
  • Support improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

 Banking and Cash Management: 

  • Support banking-related tasks, including loan payment processing and assigned banking transactions.
  • Ensure banking documents are prepared on time and banking activities are properly reconciled.

 Collaboration and Communication: 

  • Coordinate with operations, procurement, and other departments to resolve accounting matters and ensure correct data.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, banks, tax authorities, auditors, and government agencies when required.
  • Provide timely and clear updates to supervisors and team members.

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates with internship experience may be considered).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MISA experience is preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and audit procedures.
  • High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under supervision, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
