Finance Manager

Our strategic partner is a leading multinational manufacturer of medicals devices, renowned for producing tight-tolerance, precision medical components through cutting-edge extrusion and molding processes. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.

Location: Bac Ninh, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Group Finance Director in developing, implementing and monitoring the compliance of internal control policies and procedures.
  • Review financial statements, management reports and budget variance analysis of the company. Work closely with the Group Consolidation Team by providing company’s results and budget on a timely basis.
  • Ensure all financial, accounting and analytical reports are prepared according to the management policies and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate, participate and deliver insights into the financial reports in the management meeting.
  • Manage relationship with external auditors for financial audits.
  • Complete and submit all GST/VAT returns and ensure compliance.
  • Review CIT returns to be submitted by Tax Agent.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, analysis and presentation to Management.
  • Oversee the costing function for the manufacturing activities in the Vietnam entity.
  • Supervision of Accounts staff with full spectrum of accounting responsibilities.
  • Perform any other tasks as the need arises.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5 to 7 years of working experience, including experience in manufacturing costing, and supervisory experience.
  • Prior working experience with Microsoft Business Central is beneficial
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and taxation
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for details
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders of all level
  • Current CA/CMA membership or equivalent would be an added advantage.
  • Some travelling within Asia is required.
  • Proficient in Vietnamese, English and Chinese.
