CNC Leader

Our strategic partner is a leading multinational company specializing in manufacturing electronics and connectors used in data transmission systems. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions.

Location: Long An, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize and supervise team members to execute the CNC production plan, ensuring the achievement of all team goals and targets.
  • Delegate work assignments effectively based on order priorities, personnel availability and machine status.
  • Drive improvements in product quality, optimize machining processes and enhance production efficiency, while strictly upholding workplace safety standards.
  • Select the appropriate machinery for new product machining, develop manufacturing processes and create comprehensive tooling plans.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and technical training to CNC technicians on machine operation; oversee the training process and evaluate individual and team performance.
  • Continuously optimize CNC programs and machining workflows; share improvements and best practices during regular team meetings.
  • Conduct daily safety and 5S audits to ensure a clean, organized and safe work environment.
  • Foster a united, collaborative and high-performance team environment; help manage team dynamics and provide regular reports on the team’s status to upper management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Age: 25 to 40 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC turning/machining, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity (Team Leader, Shift Supervisor).
  • Demonstrated expertise in independently troubleshooting CNC machine alarms/errors, editing programs, executing product changeovers and performing tool adjustments.
  • Proficiency with a wide range of metrology instruments, including micrometers, calipers, various gauges, vision measurement systems (2D), CMMs (3D), surface profilometers/roughness testers.
  • A high sense of responsibility, a proactive work ethic, excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Tsugami CNC Swiss-type lathes (models BO123/124/125/126) is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing) is required for direct communication with Chinese-speaking colleagues and management.
