CNC Engineer

Our strategic partner is a leading multinational company specializing in manufacturing electronics and connectors used in data transmission systems. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions.

Location: Long An, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform complete machine setup and adjustments, including first article/last article part validation and tool changes.
  • Monitor and maintain standard cycle times on assigned machines to ensure production targets and efficiency.
  • Optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle times and increase overall production efficiency.
  • Implement improvements and optimizations for precision machining processes.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve in-process issues and non-conformances to ensure product quality and tight tolerances.
  • Train and guide machine operators on safe work practices, identifying and eliminating potential hazards to prevent accidents.
  • Conduct daily routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Implement and maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in the work area.
  • Execute continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop as directed.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader/Supervisor to complete other assigned duties.

Job Requirements

  • Age: 20 to 45 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. A degree from a technical or vocational school in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating Swiss-type CNC automatic lathes (sliding headstock machines).
  • Proficiency in the programming, setup and operation of at least one of the following leading Swiss-type machine brands: STAR, TSUGAMI or CITIZEN.
  • Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • A diligent, hands-on and persistent work ethic with a strong attention to detail.
