Job Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage financial data using accounting software (MISA).
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and on time, including sales, purchases, and expenses.
- Monitor and manage company loans, discounts, and banking transactions.
- Prepare and review tax reports, including VAT, PIT, CIT, and invoice reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Coordinate with tax authorities and customs departments for compliance-related activities.
- Prepare and submit financial data and reports for external audits and post-clearance audits.
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations, including environmental permits and business registrations.
- Provide required data and documentation for audits, working closely with auditors to complete financial audit processes.
Supplier and Customer Relations:
- Arrange supplier payments and ensure timely collection of customer payments.
- Prepare and manage supplier contracts and handle discrepancies related to invoicing and payments.
Reporting:
- Generate internal reports on sales, purchases, inventory, and production activities for management review.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports for submission to the Department of Statistics and other relevant government agencies.
- Ensure all internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
Banking and Loans:
- Manage relationships with multiple banks, including loan applications, export discounting, and payment transactions.
- Ensure banking documents are prepared and processed in a timely manner.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, procurement, and legal teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Lead and mentor junior accountants and support staff within the department.
System and Process Improvements:
- Ensure processes are optimized for efficiency and compliance.
- Promote the use of accounting systems (MISA and SAP) to streamline reporting and payment processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus).
- Chief Accountant Certificate as required under Vietnam Law.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including chief accountant or supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with MISA).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and audit procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with internal teams, suppliers, and auditors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
