We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for discovering, assessing, and managing new business opportunities and market initiatives to foster growth and profitability.
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Job Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth:
- Identify, analyze, develop, and oversee new business opportunities and initiatives, leading to successful market entry and commercialization.
- Work closely with potential clients to understand their unmet needs and create solutions to address them.
- Drive profitable business expansion by identifying and leveraging market trends and opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth opportunity assessments and create strategic business development plans for new ventures.
- Explore and evaluate potential business prospects that align with the company’s vision and capabilities.
- Utilize existing technologies to unlock new opportunities with both emerging and established customers.
Market & Data Analysis:
- Leverage business intelligence tools to uncover growth opportunities and implement actionable strategies.
- Perform ongoing customer data analysis, including rebate evaluations, new program ROI assessments, and sales forecasting.
- Develop customized reports using key business metrics to support sales initiatives.
Sales Performance & Target Management:
- Assist in defining sales targets and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Oversee the Sales Target Achievement Measurement Process (SIP) and address related inquiries.
Process & System Enhancement:
- Participate in ad hoc projects to assess and optimize business processes and systems.
- Provide recommendations to improve data systems, allowing for more detailed program-level analysis to support sales teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, product management, marketing, or a directly related field. Experience in the apparel & footwear industry is an advantage.
- Strong ability to assess customer needs and convert them into business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience.
- Strong financial acumen and business strategy expertise.
- Proficient in market and territory analysis, with strong planning skills.
- Ability to present data in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
- Skilled in project/process management and meeting facilitation.
- Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed organization with a multicultural and diverse workforce.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps.
Languages
- English: Equivalent to IELTS 7.0 or above.
- Chinese: HSK 5-6 proficiency
